The Child ID put on by Boulder City 37 was a great success, they can be proud of there acomplishments this year. A big thanks to all who have helped with the Child ID and the 8 Lodges now involved with the Bikes for Books Program. We now have 8 Lodges doing the Bikes For Books program, this is Masonry/Brotherhood in action. They all make me proud. If any Lodge wants to do a child ID or Bikes for Books I will be happy to set up and help if neccessary. Daylight is the last one to aprove the program. We gave out 3 sets of bikes at end of year and should be giving out the rest in the fall. Call or e-mail me at 592-9249 e-mail if can help.mclarkmjc@lvcoxmail.com

The fireworks booth was a huge success this year, thanks to Chuck Worth and Harold Scalzo, with out them and the help of all the Brothern it could have not been done. The booth has been rejuvenated and looks good, we should have several more years service with it. I hope everyone has a great summer and looking forward to Lodge in the fall. Peace and Harmony prevail.

If, from the more wretched parts of the old world, we look at those which are in an advanced stage of improvement, we still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised, to furnish new pretenses for revenues and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without tribute.
Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1791
